VARATION OF TEMPERATURE BELOW SEA SURFACE
- CATSAT service provides users with sub-surface temperature maps from global models along the water column. They are complementary to surface temperature maps and provide information about the evolution and position of the fronts along the vertical profile. These maps confirm upwelling’s areas.
- With the profile view tool, CATSAT users can see the vertical variations of the temperature along a specific track. The Thermocline depth is shown as well along this profile.

Isotherm: CATSAT software also enables to visualize map corresponding to an isotherm depth. This map gives information about depths of a given temperature below the surface.
